You are not broken.
This job is just heavier than anyone warned you it would be.
What you are carrying after the call is real. The sleepless nights, the things that stay with you, the feeling of not being okay and not knowing who to tell. You do not have to figure this out alone. After Watch Foundation was built by first responders based out of Arizona who have been exactly where you are. We are here whenever you are ready.

Built by First Responders. For First Responders.
After Watch Foundation was not built by people who studied this problem. It was built by people who lived it. Former officers, veterans, and first responders who hit the wall themselves, said I am not okay, and decided to show up for others the way someone once showed up for them. Every person on this team has worn a badge. They know what the job takes. And they know what it costs.

Here is What Happens When You Reach Out
You Connect
Fill out the contact form, send us an email, or reach out on social media. However feels easiest. There is no wrong way to start.
You Talk to Someone Who Gets It
You are not going to hear back from a stranger with a clipboard. You are going to connect with someone who wore the same uniform, answered the same calls, and carried the same weight. A firefighter connects with a firefighter. A dispatcher connects with a dispatcher. The specifics matter and these people know yours.
You Move at Your Own Pace
Nobody is going to push you. Nobody is going to tell you what to do or when to do it. You can reach out, take a step back, and come back whenever you are ready. The door stays open. Zero judgment. Zero pressure.
How We Show Up for You
Connect one on one with someone who has been exactly where you are. Role matched so you are always talking to someone who truly understands your world.
Peer Support

Wednesday Watchtower
A weekly peer support group available in person and virtually. Open to first responders and their families. A place to show up, be real, and not have to explain yourself.
Equine Therapy
Healing looks different for everyone. Our equine program through Toscano Farms gives first responders and veterans a space to slow down, reset, and reconnect in a way that feels safe and natural.
Training
We bring practical, first responder specific mental health training directly to departments and academies. Built by people who have done the job, not borrowed from a corporate wellness playbook.
After the Call Podcast
Real stories from real first responders. Honest conversations about PTSD, trauma, resilience, and what it actually looks like to find your way through. Available anywhere you listen to podcasts.
Trusted Resources
We connect first responders and families with vetted mental health professionals who understand the culture, the job, and what it takes to actually help.

Why We Built This
After Watch Foundation started because the people who built it needed something like this and it did not exist. They wore the badge. They answered the calls. They hit the wall that nobody warns you about when you sign up for this job. And when they finally said I am not okay, they found their way through. Now they show up every day so others do not have to figure it out alone. That is the whole story. Everything we do comes from that.
Have Their Six. Every Month.

In first responder culture, six means I have got your back. The Got Your Six campaign asks supporters to give six dollars a month to fund mental health services, peer support, and crisis resources for first responders and their families. Because the people who protect everyone else deserve to know someone is protecting them too.
